Super Meaty Chili

A quick chili recipe that makes meaty thick chili.

4 Lb ground sirloin

2 - 40oz cans Dark Red Kidney Beans

2 - 28oz cans Tomato Puree

2 - 28oz cans Crushed Tomatoes

2 - 15oz cans Petite Diced tomatoes with green chilis

2   packages Carol Shellby's Texas Chili Kit (spices)

2 medium onions

2 cloves garlic

Drain the juice from the beans and discard it. Dice the onions and garlic and saute. Mix in the ground sirloin and add  the spices immediately and mix them into the mixture well. Mash the meat up so that the spices are mixed into the meat long before it starts to cook (this makes for a mealy meat mixture instead of big chunks). Brown the mixture. Add in the sauce and then the beans and continue to cook until it is simmering. Remove from the heat, cool and serve.
