JJ Was Assaulted Last Friday

On Friday of last week a fellow classmate sprayed a deodorant or aftershave into JJ's right eye just as school ended. It resulted in JJ missing his school bus, requiring a visit to the school nurse (where his eye was washed out) and a visit to a local clinic where he received some eyedrops.

He continued to complain of pain in his right eye through Saturday. The eyedrops appearded to help and there was no comment about pain on Sunday. Several nosebleeding sessions followed the incident and it is believed that they are related. The right nostril appeared to be involved.

It is reported that a classmate named Justin was  the culprit. JJ had related a story on the day prior to the attack concerning a conversation with Justin about a fellow student who had brought a knife to school. Justin knew more about the incident which he chose not to divulge. JJ claimed he pointed out to Justin that he could have provided some information that would help the accused student but would also implicate someone else. It was reported by JJ that Justin took exception to that and commented that he was not a snitch.

School authorities stated to JJ's mother that  they were treating this as an assault.
